Standing up, the music box looks like a book...so it's perfect for storing on your bookshelf or desk! Then when you open it to play the music, you get the pleasant surprise of seeing a little hobbit hole nestled inside.
The box is made of lovely solid red/brown wood, and the hobbit hole is made from 3D printed PLA filament. The colored version of the Hobbit Hole is hand painted by me using acrylic paints. The music (Lord of the Rings theme) is played with a hand crank, so no batteries needed.
